Giving is integral to our faith ….. it is a pillar of our Faith, just like celebrating Mass on Sunday and participating in parish ministry. Giving is one of the precepts of the church: “Provide for the needs of the church.” Giving is sharing one of the many fruits God has given us and it plays a vital role in ensuring the church’s well-being. Please prayerfully consider your support for the Parish. God truly blesses you for your generosity.
Holy Spirit Parish welcomes many methods of giving for supporting the parish. They include:

Cash or cheques made payable to Holy Spirit Parish can be placed in envelopes and dropped into the Collection Basket during Mass or placed into the wooden Offering Box beside the Bulletin Board under the TV in the Gathering Area. To receive personalized envelopes, please contact the Parish Office. Be sure your contact information is up to date and please notify the Parish of any changes or corrections.
For one-time or recurring donations, please click the link below. Holy Spirit uses CanadaHelps which is an online fundraiser/donation platform. This platform processes the donations then sends the funds to Holy Spirit.
Donate online instantly using tiptap! The tiptap machine is located in the Gathering Area. This machine is a debit/credit card machine for use before or after Mass as a convenience for those who do not carry cash.

You can donate directly into the Parish’s bank account by using the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) feature available through online banking. Send the donation to donations@holyspiritparish.net. A security question is not required. To obtain a tax receipt, please provide the following in the Message Box: (1) Your Full Name (2) Your Address and Postal Code (3) Your Envelope # (If applicable). Please indicate the specific fund you wish to support in the Message box as well.
You can set up an automatic withdrawal from your bank account into the parish’s bank account on the 1st and/or 15th of each month.

c) Special Collections – annual collections to support various needs within and outside the parish (ie, the Holy Land, the Christmas Hamper Program, etc.)

Parishioners who donate using the CanadaHelps online giving platform will receive tax receipts via email from CanadaHelps immediately after each transaction is completed. For donations made directly to Holy Spirit Parish, such as those using envelopes or e-Transfer, tax receipts will be issued by the parish. We issue annual tax receipts for your previous year’s contributions in late January or early February. You may choose to pick up your receipt at the church, have it emailed to you, or receive it by mail. Picking up your tax receipt helps us reduce costs, so we appreciate your support in doing so.
