We understand that coming back to the Catholic faith, after being away for a while, can be daunting. There are many reasons why Catholics leave the faith so please know that you are not alone in this journey, and there is no need to fear the process. Jesus came to save, not to condemn, and His arms are always open to welcome you back, no matter how long you’ve been away. The Catholic Church is here for you, ready to support and guide you with love and compassion. Keep your eyes focused on Jesus and know that it’s never too late to seek God’s forgiveness and embrace His mercy.
Meet with a Priest
If something from your past is holding you back from returning to the Catholic faith, we invite you to meet with a priest at the Parish Office to begin your journey of healing and return to our Catholic community.
Go to Confession
Confessions provide reconciliation with God, allowing us to live in His light and grace.
One of the greatest joys a priest can experience is welcoming Catholics back to the Church, helping them to rediscover and experience God’s love.
Attend Mass
The Mass is the #1 way God feeds us each week.
In the Mass, we are invited to encounter the True Presence of God in the most profound way. It is truly the source and summit of our lives on earth.

A key reason to choose Catholicism over other religions is the sacraments that were instituted by Christ. Christ instituted all seven sacraments as ways in which He could be present to His people even after His Ascension into Heaven. Sacraments are the way that God imparts His grace to strengthen us in the faith.
The Sacrament of the Eucharist, where bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Christ, is the most important sacrament and is the core reason for being Catholic; it is communion with the body of Christ, and it is a fountain of ongoing grace. The transubstantiation from bread and wine to the Eucharist is celebrated at every Mass, which commemorates Jesus’ Death and Resurrection.
Another significant reason to consider Catholicism is its historical continuity. The Catholic Church, established by Jesus Christ Himself, has been faithfully preserved for 2,000 years. In Matthew 16:18-19, Jesus says to Peter, “… you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church and the gates of Hell will not overcome it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.” Every bishop today can trace their ordination back to the apostles; the popes are successors of St. Peter.
The divine and infallible authority that Jesus bestowed upon the apostles and their successors in the New Testament is another significant reason to choose Catholicism. In Luke 10:16, Jesus states, “Anyone who listens to you listens to me; anyone who rejects you rejects me, and those who reject me reject the one who sent me.” In Matthew 16:19, Jesus says, “… whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose upon earth, shall be loosed also in heaven.” It is the Catholic church alone that has presented one Lord, one faith, one baptism for 2,000 years, never contradicting a definitive teaching.
“He who trusts in himself is lost. He who trusts in God can do all things.”
St. Alphonsus Liguori
