Important Information for Attending Mass

If you are registered and you (or a family member) feel unwell, or you/they have come in contact with someone who is unwell, please stay home and contact the Register Coordinator. Please note, for Hispanic community, text at 403-671-3787. If someone tests positive for COVID-19, let us know right away so we can reduce the spread.

  • We encourage you to arrive early, for checking in. The doors will be closed when the Mass begins.
  • The Diocese strongly encourages everyone to have a MASK for the safety of those around you. Please wear your mask upon entering the church. If you don’t have a mask, or have forgotten yours, you can get one at the check-in desk.
  • Please read the self-assessment tool, placed at the church entrance, and if you answer ‘yes’ to any of the questions, we would ask that you return home.
  • You’ll need to sanitize your hands upon entering and again just before communion. Our priests prefer you remove your mask at hand sanitizing, before coming up to communion.
  • Practice physical distancing of 2 meters at all times.
  • Members of a family or cohort can sit together and children must be with their parents at all times.
  • Ushers will direct processing for communion, one section at a time.
  • As we have to sanitize between Masses, please, no Socializing after Mass inside the church – go to the parking lot, away from high traffic areas, such as entrances and exits, and maintain physical distancing.

It is our hope that many of these rules will be lifted but we must await guidance from the Diocese. Sorry for any inconvenience …but let’s do our best to keep Holy Spirit Church safe and healthy for all.
