Together in action (TIA for short) is the annual fundraising campaign by the Calgary Diocese. All parishes work together to raise two million dollars. In 1992 the campaign was established and has to date raised over 45 million dollars for causes.
You gift to the TIA helps provide necessary services and ministry resources no single parish could provide. TIA funds grants to almost 50 local charities and national and international partners. It supports diocesan ministries and programs in the 68 parishes across southern Alberta.
A volunteer coordinator at the Calgary Seniors Resource Society expressed these thoughts: Please pass along our deepest appreciation for the Catholic community. Without funding, waitlists would grow and seniors would be left without the support they desperately need. I work on the front lines and hear their heartbreaking stories. You are really making a huge impact on the less fortunate seniors.
May TIA be a way to bring God’s mercy and kindness to others and carry out Christ’s work in the community.
